Hannah Gavios

Hannah Gavios from Queens NY is currently a package designer at Ralph Lauren. She is a part-time student at Hunter College, interning and finishing up her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is also a yoga instructor and teaches adaptive yoga to wheelchair users at Mount Sinai Hospital. After surviving a traumatic 150-ft fall in 2016 and becoming paralyzed with a spinal cord injury, she has found her light at the end of the tunnel through helping and inspiring others to overcome their own personal traumas and obstacles. In fact, she has completed 4 NYC marathons on crutches. She has shared her story with elementary school students, inspiring them to acquire a growth mindset approach toward facing challenges in their lives and overcoming difficulty through strength and perseverance. In addition, she has been featured on various media outlets, such as TODAY, the 2020 Budweiser Superbowl commercial, and more recently ABC's Tamron Hall show.
